There are many home remedies that we can use for the various problems in our pets. In fact, they provide almost the same results when it comes to restoring the health condition of our beloved animals.

When it comes to treating ear mites in dogs, there are several treatment methods that can be used in order to help our pets recover from the condition. However, many people nowadays tend to switch to the natural methods not only for the fact that they are more affordable but also because of their safety to the animals. The most important thing to consider when it comes to providing treatment for ear mites is consistency. Make sure that you are regularly inspecting the condition of the ears of the dogs in order to get an actual knowledge regarding the effect of the natural medicines on the health issue. In addition, you should always guard the dog so that they will not do anything that will aggravate the situation. In most cases, dogs would try to scratch their ears as much as possible which is not necessary and helpful at all.

–White Vinegar and Water – among the most popular and commonly used natural remedy in almost all type of problems is the vinegar. It is a natural disinfectant and cleanser that is able to kill bacteria and all sorts of microorganisms that can be harmful to your pets. In fact, its acidity is quite strong that it discourages ticks and fleas to manifest on the dog. Mix one part of white vinegar to two parts of clean water which you will be using on the infected ears of your dog. You can use a dropper, syringe (without the needle), or a cotton ball to pour the solution into the ears. As soon as you are done with the pouring process, make sure that you cover the ear of the dog to avoid shaking off the solution from the ears. Massage the ears of the dog in the neck region in order for the solution to properly spread into the ears. Allow the dog to shake his or her head afterwards. Get your cotton balls ready and wipe away gently to get rid of the mites from the inside of the ears. Do the same process on both ears and repeat wiping off the ears until you are satisfied with the quality of your cleaning task. Make sure that you do not leave the ears partially wet as this will encourage the mites to re-infest. You can also use natural anti-irritation remedies in order to keep the ears safe from irritation due to the process.
